REPAIR Research Presented at the Livable Cities Conference

25th June 2026

Project REPAIR researcher Martyna Surma recently presented her research at the Livable Cities Conference, organised by the Architecture, Media, Politics, Society (AMPS) research network.

Martyna's presentation, Social Value as a Driver for Social Housing Projects Utilising Nature-based Solutions for Climate Adaptation, explored how social value can help shape social housing developments that incorporate nature-based solutions to address climate change while supporting healthier, more resilient communities.

The presentation reflects Project REPAIR's wider research into biophilic living and the role that nature-based solutions can play in creating places that benefit both people and the environment. Sharing this work at international conferences provides an opportunity to exchange ideas, contribute to wider discussions on sustainable urban development, and showcase the research being undertaken by the REPAIR team.

You can find out more about the conference programme and Martyna's presentation on the Livable Cities Conference website.
